Hey! I’m Kirk. I am a pastor in Kansas and a perpetual student of the Bible.  I find the Old Testament particularly fascinating, and I am always curious to learn how God speaks to us through such an ancient document.

I am a runner and a donut eater (never simultaneously, of course).  The running enables my donut addiction. The donuts motivate me to run.   It is a vicious cycle.

Kuriakos is a Greek word that describes something that belongs to the Lord.  It later morphed into the Scottish word Kirk, which means ‘church’.  My desire is that my whole being would belong to the Lord as his will is done in my life.  I hope that this blog will be a written account of the change he is making in me.
